If you’ve ever driven past the clubhouse and wondered what’s behind those glass doors marked “Fitness Center,” this is your sign to take a peek inside.
In this quick video tour below, I walk you through our Long Meadow Farms Fitness Center showing how to access it with your resident badge, what equipment is available, and how to make the most of this convenient neighborhood gym.

Easy Access for Every Resident
One of the biggest perks of living in Long Meadow Farms is having a fully equipped fitness center just minutes from your doorstep. The gym is open daily from 4 AM to 11 PM, giving early risers and night owls plenty of time to squeeze in a workout.
You can enter using the same badge you use for the swimming pool and pickleball courts — just tap the reader at the door, and you’re in. No extra memberships. No drive across town. No excuses.
Cardio Equipment for Every Level
Whether you’re easing into movement or training for your next 5K, you’ll find plenty of options inside:
Treadmills for walking, jogging, or sprint intervals
Recumbent bikes for a comfortable, low-impact ride
Rowing machines to strengthen your back and core
Ellipticals for a smooth, joint-friendly workout
Stairclimbers for a challenging cardio workout
Even 10–15 minutes of cardio can elevate your energy, improve focus, and kick-start your metabolism for the day.
Strength Training Made Simple
Across the room, you’ll find strength machines designed for total-body training:
Leg press, extension, and curl stations for lower-body power
Pull-up/dip assist and shoulder press for upper-body strength
Lat pulldown, seated row, and chest press for posture and definition
Each machine offers adjustable weight stacks and clear instructions — ideal for both beginners and experienced lifters.
Keep It Clean, Keep It Friendly
We’re lucky to share such a great community space. Please remember to:
Wipe down equipment after each use (wipes are provided).
Re-rack weights and leave benches clear for the next neighbor.
A little courtesy goes a long way toward keeping our gym welcoming for everyone.
Why This Neighborhood Gym Matters
With busy workdays, school runs, and family schedules, driving 20 minutes to a commercial gym can feel impossible. The Long Meadow Farms Fitness Center removes that barrier — giving residents a place to exercise, recharge, and connect with the community without leaving Richmond.
As a local health coach, I love seeing neighbors take advantage of what’s right here in our subdivision. You don’t need fancy memberships — just 30 minutes, a plan, and consistency.
